The feature as following:
Granulated Activated Carbon/KDF –High efficiency pre-filter reduces
and removes: Chlorine, Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C), Pesticides, Nitrates,
Herbicides, tastes, odor, and disinfection by-products (chloramines, THM, TCE).
KDF media extends the life and increases the effectiveness of carbon filters,
controlling the buildup of micro-organisms such as bacteria and algae, with 10
times the chlorine removal capacity. Cartridges are constructed totally of FDA
grade materials and media. In addition KDF media may be used for the removal of
lead and other heavy metals.
